Star Tsiopou attended School of the Art Institute of Chicago '23. She studied film photography and experimented with analog filmmaking. In her works, she has focused on the material of the celluloid film itself. She played with the process of developing the film to create texture and ghostly colors. Her photography is an exploration of her own identity, family history, and spirituality. Star is currently pursuing her master's degree in filmmaking at 3iS International Institute for Image and Sound based in Paris, France. She is interested in the prop department and the set design aspect in filmmaking.
