Artarios Bookbinding
Recently Star has been bookbinding notebooks, calendar journals, and sketchbooks for
Artarios Atelier. This studio, based in Athens, Greece specializes in handmade notebooks in the coptic and Byzantine style of bookbinding. All the papers are hand cut and the front and back covers and fabrics of the notebooks are hand made. It is a one of a kind business ran by
Artemis Stefanoudakis and Eleftheria Katsa.
Star sewed together with needle and thread these Artarios books. She also photographed them with the backdrop of the city of Athens to contextualize them.
